I was tagged by Wendy of Creative Work at Home Info to create a contract with myself (meme), but I must admit I have wrestled with this idea for several days. So, what I have done is to take the 2006 contract that I had with myself, modified it, and added a fourth point for 2007. My current personal contract now reads as follows:
Contract With Myself
I resolve to provide for every single one of my clients the following –

1. I will do the best job possible for you and for a competitive price.

2. I will work for you as if it matters to me. That’s because it does.

3. Your success is my success. If you do well, I do well. If your project fails, I have failed too.

For 2007 I have added the following:

4. If I know that I cannot provide #s 1, 2, and 3, then I will not accept the project. Furthermore, I will keep my standards high by only accepting those projects that offer adequate pay and are of interest to me. Bye, bye Guru.com!

I affirm these points before my God and humankind on this 6th day of February 2007.
