Now Hiring! Or, Outsourcing For Writers
This past May I threw out a question to my freelancer readers in an effort to learn what their writing specialties were. I received a lot of responses which was good as I was able to determine who covered what. I concluded the thread by mentioning the possibility of passing on some future projects.
Possible Gigs For Freelancers
Well, the time has come for me to serve notice that I need to tap The Article Writer fountain to find out about your current availability. I am about to embark on what may end up being the largest and most in-depth contract project in my five years of freelancing. A full-time position may come out of it which means one thing: I won’t be able to service my current crop of clients.
A Call For US Freelancers
Instead of tracking people down one-by-one, if you are a freelance writer based in the US, then this could be your chance to pick up some extra work.
Some of the subjects to be covered include:
- Home Improvement, including interior design/decoration.
- Student Loans, particularly private loans and refinancing options.
- Automotive, including specific makes/models, parts/accessories, maintenance, etc.
There are a few other topics that may come up soon, most will have to do with consumerism from an American angle.
Please Forward Your Clips
If you are interested, please forward to me at matt@thearticlewriter.com a note explaining your experience, your writing specialties, and include 3 links to published articles (quality article directory submissions are fine). From this information I will see if you are a possible fit and we’ll take it from there.
I will only contact you if I need more information or if I have an opportunity to share.
No, you won’t be working for me and I won’t be taking a cut. If selected, you’ll be put in contact with the client to discuss their specific writing projects, set fees, etc.
Upcoming Gigs Too
Don’t let your current workload stop you from submitting your qualifications either. I expect an increase in projects beginning in September, therefore what you can’t take now you may be able to snag then.
