Test Drive My Other Blog
Besides my blogging here, I blog on The Auto Writer my car blog which also shares the URL with this blog. Yes, if I had given it more thought I would have established a separate web address for this second blog when I set it up in February 2006, just two months after launching this blog. Well, I am not about to mess with success and kill my SEO — the blog and its 650+ entries will stay in place and help The Article Writer achieve greatness (I can dream now, can’t I?)
All Autos, All The Time!
I regular post to The Auto Writer, sometimes several times a day. I like this blog for two reasons:
- It showcases to potential clients my interest in all things automotive.
- The blog serves as an outlet for the car hobbyist guy in me. Nope, I am not a weekend mechanic, but I like to keep pace with what is going on in the auto industry.
What I Cover Mostly
Call me a dinosaur, but I am still fond of American cars. I own a Dodge and a Toyota, but vehicles from Chrysler, Ford, and General Motors interest me the most. Although the Detroit 3 are going through life threatening changes, I still believe that the U.S. auto industry has some life in it.
I also am keeping my eyes on:
The Chinese auto industry — what vehicles will be on North American roads within the next few years. Personally, I think Chinese cars are garbage, but the same thing was being said about Japanese cars 50 years ago and Korean cars 20 years ago. This too shall change.
The Tesla — is an electric car that goes from zero to 60 in 4 seconds. The Tesla is not a golf cart — it is a beautiful sports car — and the first models should be hitting the road later this year.
I like to throw a green bone to my readers every now and then too, therefore once in awhile I discuss E85 fuel, but I don’t typically mention hybrids all that much…yawn!
Investigating An Unethical Auto Lender
One of my current article outlines being developed is an investigative reporting piece about an auto financing company that preys on the poor. If you think sub-prime mortgages is a problem, this company makes the average “used car salesman” look like an angel. I hope to be pitching the outline later this month.
So, when you tire of me blathering about articles, SEO, and the like, then please head on over to The Auto Writer for something different.

if you do a “301 redirect” (or 302, I forgot, you can google it), your SEO will all forward to your new domain, so you can still transfer it, if you want to do a bit of work.
I’ll have to check out your auto blog and watch for the automotive financing post you are talking about.
