I recently mentioned elsewhere my not feeling well. In actuality, my entire family is sick and on medications for bronchitis, strep throat, and pink eye. We’re like an infirmary here, but thankfully our neighbor Janie has blessed us with turkey soup and some much needed supplies.

Yesterday, I could not accomplish much of value. Anything requiring extensive brain power was just not to be. The fogginess of certain medications is a negative attribute to some antibiotics, but you learn to go with what works.

Through it all, I am pressing on regardless of how I feel. This reminds me of a scripture, “when we are weak, then I am strong” which speaks about our need to depend on God no matter how we feel — 2 Corinthians 12:10. Good food for thought as I press on.
