In some of my spare time lately [hah!] I have been putting together a brand new site, one that is fully owned and operated by me. Credit Card Venue is the first all new site that I have built for myself since launching The Article Writer way back on Memorial Day Weekend 2005.

Credit Card Venue is essentially a site that markets consumer and business credit cards as well as some related financial vehicles including debit cards and select loans. I have wanted to develop a personal finance site for some time and this type of site fits into my plans. Plus, if you decide to apply for a card through my site, I receive a commission whether you are approved or not.

I doubt I’ll make much money off of the site especially since I have included several articles I have written about personal finance that encourages people to take a precautionary look at credit cards, credit reports, and the like. After reading the articles, some of my potential customers are certain to say “no thank you” and move on. That’s okay with me as I would only want people to shop for credit if they were certain they could actually pay their debt off.
