In my previous blog entry I mentioned about a great little Javascript tool that allows for you to rotate banners on your site. Today, I want to draw your attention to a little button maker that you can use for free.
The Brilliant Button Maker is a script that has beeen developed by Luca Zappa. You can make a variety of customized 80 x 15 sized buttons and use them on your sites, messages boards, in your signature, etc. I haven’t made up a button yet, but have plans to do so in the near future. BTW, each button is rendered as a *png file, excellent for your Web 2.0 site!

I use Javascript on various pages?across several of my sites as I enjoy the many different tools that this scripting language has associated with it. Sure, I know that there can be bugs with the program — even viruses — but I try to be very careful what I download and use. Macromedia 7 is another option, but I prefer Javascript because it is easy to use. In addition Javascript is free.
If you need to rotate banners [or pictures for that matter] a banner rotating script can be very useful, especially if you want to use more than?one of the same sized ad on your site. You can switch between various 468 x 60 sized ads and even sell valuable ad space with that stipulation: your client’s ads will appear alternately with one or more other ads.
Please click here for one such script that I have used. In addition, visit Javascript.com for other scripts that are useful too.
Labor Day weekend is in two weeks and I cannot wait. No, it isn’t because my kids will be back in school — we are all ready for that — instead many of my clients will be back at work and ready to move forward with their projects.
This summer has been slow for me, but I can point back to last summer when I went through similar up and down times. Fortunately, I can count on some of my steady customers keeping me going, but most of my business customers are squeezing in vacation time during these last two weeks of summer.
Okay, get your sun tan and then get off of the beach…I’m waiting to write for you and summer is coming to an end…quickly and mercifully.
Enjoy the sun, surf, and sea, but remember: I’m waiting to write for you.
