I have decided to use some of my slow time to simply keep writing articles on a variety of topics. It seems that I can accomplish so much more by writing articles even when the demand isn’t there. Since I typically get requests for subjects I am already familiar with, it certainly makes sense for me to keep writing about those topics even when a specific job hasn’t materialized.

To date, I have over three dozen unsold articles in my arsenal. When a call comes in for work, I visit my repository, find the appropriate article, brush it up, and the job is done. Sounds easy? Well, perhaps not. I still have to spend time working with existing clients, writing proposals, sending out contracts, etc.

At least the theory seems attractive!
