I have been asked by one of my clients to submit some of my previously written works to several new article directories that have sprung up over the past few months.

For the record, I signed up with ten of them, but at least one site keeps kicking me out because of some internal structural problem on their end. One other site doesn’t display article stats and two sites still haven’t approved one single article of the ten I submitted to them four days ago.

If my client hadn’t requested the submission, I probably wouldn’t have bothered to do so. Why? Mostly because the sites are new, therefore their track record is unknown. I believe the explosion of Article Dashboard directories has expanded article marketing immensely, but a shake out of directories is certain to occur as site owners realize just how much work they must put into it without the big return on money that some expect.
