Videos
One of the newer features of this site are automotive videos, those interviews, shots, and stories you can find on YouTube and elsewhere. Prior to January 2008, I was hesitant to use videos on this blog in part because embedding them with WordPress was a bit of a chore. Happily, WordPress has been updated enough to handle this issue, making embeds a snap.
Coinciding with my trip to the 2008 NAIAS, I was able to secure several videos and post them to this site. Instead of having a separate section for automotive videos, you can find them from time to time in a particular blog entry. I usually precede each embed with a comment to offer my unique perspective of what the video is all about. Besides, I don’t want to drive the search engines batty by offering what amounts to duplicate content. Hey, I need every bit of optimization I can get!
The videos featured here have been carefully selected. I only post videos which add value to this blog and offer something to my readership. If it isn’t interesting to me, it won’t show up here.
If you own or come across a video that readers of this blog might find interesting, then feel free to contact me to let me know what you have. Videos of three to four minutes length are ideal, but I’m not interested in republishing something that already has had plenty of playtime on YouTube and similar sites.
