Updating Articles, All Of The Time
It seems as if I am constantly tweaking what I have written. Indeed, it doesn’t take many changes for an article to require an update as new makes and models roll out and the industry frequently changes.
One of my most popular automotive articles is titled, “Ultra Low Priced Cars: Will You Buy One?” written by me in May 2006. Recently, I added sectional headers to help the article read better.
I also updated my “The History of Hyundai” article to include references as well as headers. In addition, I made note of the above average quality of the current crop of Hyundai vehicles — an amazing feat when you consider how poorly made these cars were just a generation ago.
Although much has changed about Chery Automotive since I wrote about the company in November 2005, I pretty much left the article alone other than to add, you guessed it, section headers. At some point I will be including updated information about various Chinese brands herein, so please check back to see what I have written.
With nearly 1500 articles posted on this site, keeping up with all of them takes a lot of work. Typically, I concentrate on the highest trafficked articles first, but I’ll take a “slow mover” and make changes to it too if I think that the revised copy would have a wider appeal post update.
