The Auto Writer Is 3!
Many thanks to the readers of The Auto Writer which is celebrating its third anniversary today. The blog, not me, that is!
I’m not one for sticking an animated cake on the site in celebration, but I will share some news with you about a certain V-10 powered sports car that may have a buyer for it.

Dodge's iconic Viper super car is on the auction block. According to Chrysler sources, three unidentified parties are interested in taking the model off of Chrysler's hands. One of those parties is rumored to be MJ Acquisitions who just days ago purchased a portion of Saleen Automotive's operation. Exactly how much Chrysler could fetch for the Viper is unknown nor do we know if the hand built car will continue to be built at the Conner Avenue Assembly plant in Detroit. The 25,000th model was sold last summer and sales for the Viper continue to be on the upswing despite the gloomy economy.
Again, thank you for making The Auto Writer a place where you regularly visit. Feel free to chime in at any time and I look forward to sharing additional car news with you over the coming year!
