Call For Submissions

If you have newsworthy information that you would like to see disseminated through The Auto Writer, please send your information to Matt Keegan at info@thearticlewriter.com. You may send an attachment describing your news, product, information, etc. and you may include a related and suitable photograph to go with your article.

Generally, one article per day is published through this site, Mondays through Fridays, with additional articles added from time to time. If we think that your news is something that our readers would be interested in learning about, we’ll schedule a date for when that news will be published. You may or may not be notified of publication, therefore you are urged to subscribe to a feed to keep up with our news. Due to the volume of requests we receive, we cannot guarantee a direct response to your inquiry.

When contacting us via email, please put the term Call For Submissions in the description section of your message. Please send complete news, supplying as much information as possible to help avoid endless exchange of emails or phone calls.

When submitting to The Auto Writer, please understand that you are releasing that news to us for reprinting, giving us the right to edit or modify your information accordingly. All photographs and text must be copyright free, allowing The Auto Writer to republish without any restrictions. Credit will be given at the end of the article for the providing source; you may include one or two related links with your article.

In all, please supply:

  • Your name and title.

  • Organization that you are representing.

  • Contact phone number and email.

  • One article with related photography (articles are to be 400-1200 words in length). Original material only – a press release is fine, but it will not be published verbatim. Instead, press releases will be evaluated and a fresh article created if we decide to go with your story. If submitting an article and you wish to have byline credit or have author information included, please submit that information with your article.

Alternate Publishing Source

The Auto Writer also runs a similar blog, Auto Trends, with the focus on concept cars, gadgets, and trendy automotive stuff. If we think that your article is better suited for this publication, it may appear there instead, but not on both sites.

For freelance writers looking for exposure, we cannot pay you for your original submission. However, if your article is suitable for our needs, you’ll get full byline credit, links to your site, and the opportunity to have your name published on one of the largest, independent automotive blogs. Please acquaint yourself with the types of articles featured on The Auto Writer and include similar topics for your submissions.
