I just traded in my 2006 Buick Lucerne for a german auto, only because GM has not come out with an or equal to what was just traded. I loved this car, and yes it was the best car I have ever owned. Lacross does not fill the bill and I was forced to go elsewhere. Get busy General Motors, come out with The Buick New Park Avenue, and I will be right there to buy one…….

I currently own a 2006 Buick Lucerne! I positively love my car! It is by far the best car that I have ever owned! I have attained an honest 36.3 mpg highway with my Lucerne! Hundreds of people here in Southwest Florida have a Lucerne! They are seen almost everywhere for very good reason! They have a much better ride quality than most of the new Cadillacs & Lincolns at a lower price! GM needs to get it through their thick heads that not everyone wants a SUV! (Enclave). It is of the utmost stupidity for GM & Buick to stop building the well liked Buick Lucerne! Buick should be building a new full size Lucerne to the same standards as they require on the new Buick Lacrosse! Many Americans can’t afford a new Cadillac!

Albert, that is the problem with most cars below the full size segment: not enough legroom. And it is also the reason why car manufacturers are steering customers to crossovers such as the Buick Enclave.

I bought an 2008 Lucerne…it is by far the best car I have ever owned. The Lacross and the Regal have absolutely no leg room in the back seat.
