My, What Big Teeth You Have!

2010 Lincoln MKT: The all-new Lincoln MKT features a distinctive modern design that boldly looks forward, while making respectful nods to timeless Lincoln styling cues of the past. The split-wing grille, for example, recalls the classic 1941 Continental.

The rear section of the MKT reminds me of the bustle back look of the 1979 Cadillac Seville or the 1937 Cord Beverly. A distinctive style which gives the MKT a much more luxurious look than most crossovers.

Lincoln MKT is an all-new three-row premium luxury utility vehicle that combines class-leading performance and fuel economy with impressive arrays of standard and available customer-focussed innovation and technology.

The Lincoln MKT shares the same platform with the Ford Flex, but its sheetmetal and many of the interior components are different. Featuring three rows of seating, the MKT offers standard fixed glass Panoramic Vista Roof™ with power-assisted front and rear sunshades – or the available Power Panoramic VistaTM roof. Seating configurations can include either six or seven passengers.

What Ford says about the Lincoln MKT, "All the steering is handled by the actual active park-assist system, what the driver does is control brake and throttle, once the vehicle is in the parking spot it'll send an indication that your procedure is done and your set and you put the vehicle in park and you can walk away. We have a standard touch screen and then we've added new features such as adaptive cruise control, with collision mitigation our blind spot bliss system and a new active park assist system that's being launched on the MKT. We're confident that we've taken the Lincoln Brand to the next level. Lot of attention to detail, on fit and finish, touch points. Hand wrapped instrument panel, hand wrapped door trims cloth wrapped A-pillar and B-pillar and then the level of leather used in the vehicle, very luxurious."
