HID, I agree but then most of the models mentioned are vehicles of a previous engineering generation, making certain parts much more valuable to thieves. I think that even with alarm systems in place sophisticated thieves will find a way to swipe a car and have it completely dismantled at a chop shop within hours of the heist.

Its probably because manufacturers have been complex alarm systems in their cars which defeats 99% of car thieves and these are the only cars they are able to steal and chop.
