Get Out And Enjoy A Car Show This Weekend!

October is one of the most beautiful months weatherwise, with neither Winter’s cold or Summer’s blistering heat ruling the day. In most areas of the country, October makes for a perfect month to host an outdoor event, including auto shows and other car related gatherings.Autumn Car Shows

This weekend and through the remainder of the month, there are a number of events being held. Please click on the appropriate link to learn all of the details including dates, times, locations, and entrance fees:

The Charleston Cruisers Car Club is making plans for its 2nd Annual Cruise Night. This year’s Cruise Night will be Saturday, October 18th and will feature a Non-Judged Show and Shine at the Charleston Middle School parking lot from 4pm to 7pm with cruising to follow.

At the Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum beginning on Thursday, October 16 and running through Sunday, October 19 is the Long Island Auto Show. Expect to find all of the latest 2009 models on display at the four day show.

1st Nostalgia Nationals at Beech Bend Raceway Park in Bowling Green, KY from October 17-19, featuring Hot Rods, Customs, Classics & Muscle Cars thru ’72.

The Amelia Cruizers Car Club is hosting its 12th Annual 8 Flags Car Show on historic Centre Street in downtown Fernandina Beach (FL) on October 18th.

3rd Annual Rock & Roll Car Show on October 18th at The Gathering Place in Greenwood, IN. Proceeds to benefit the children at Riley Hospital.

Next month, some of the big regional shows kick off including SEMA in Las Vegas from November 4-7th and the L.A. Auto Show from November 21-30th. More information about those shows other events being planned for the remainder of 2008 in an upcoming article.
