Mod Car, that is a lot of dealerships closing. All at once makes this especially bad. I would think (or hope) that some of the larger or newly consolidated dealerships would be able to hire some of the laid off workers, but probably not that many. Perhaps one or two mechanics, maybe one salesperson. In some towns, the devastation will be notable given that a car dealer can be one of the largest employers.

25% of all dealers is a fairly large proportion! I guess they can always turn to used car sales lots but what about the mechanics? Sadly a lot of people will be without work.
